Presenter
Andrew Pearlmutter, Digital Innovation Leader, Sanofi

Description

To enable more empirically objective, streamlined, and RWE-powered remote Parkinson’s Disease clinical trials while meaningfully reducing patient and site trial participation burdens, Sanofi has developed a novel and fully digital clinical trial endpoint: the Parkinson’s Disease Functional Impacts Digital Instrument (PD-FIDI). This webinar will present a comprehensive overview of the PD-FIDI’s origins, its ongoing multi-stage R&D life cycle, and key lessons learned.

Learning Objectives

    1. Understand how digital clinical trial endpoints add value for trial patients, sites, and sponsors
    2. Learn what developing and fully validating a novel digital endpoint looks like in practice
    3. Gain key insights on digital endpoint R&D best practices

Andrew Pearlmutter is a Digital Innovation Leader in Sanofi’s North American Digital Innovation Hub. At Sanofi, Andrew develops and deploys digital wearables R&D solutions – including creating and clinically validating comprehensive and fully digital trial endpoints like the Parkinson’s Disease Functional Impacts Digital Instrument (PD-FIDI).

Andrew joined Sanofi in 2017, where he focused on leveraging largescale online patient survey insights to optimize high-priority clinical trial protocols. Andrew has a M.A. in Business Research from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, a B.A. in Political Science from Yale University and a B.S. in Psychology from Yale University.
