Description

Experienced leaders understand that “if you don’t get the people right, the rest of it just doesn’t make much difference!” Yet, Gallop studies show that less than 30% of employees are engaged in their work.  Performisys reports that 1/3 of employees tend to produce 2/3’s of all results. The starting point for closing this huge performance gap between the best and rest is at the front door – the staffing process. 

But finding that individual who values your business culture and whose performance will exceed your expectations is difficult under the best of circumstances. Today’s legal minefields and trained interviewees make doing so increasingly arduous. This presentation will highlight the Seven Steps which have been designed to source, identify and select top-performing employees in a manner that increases defensibility against discriminatory claims and negligent hiring lawsuits. This presentation is a follow-on to Performisys’ May 19 SCRS webinar “Creating a High Caliber Work Culture in Clinical Site Networks™.

Stefan is Senior Vice President and Consultant with Rxcel Partners. In addition to executive search he leads the talent management advisory services at the firm. He also serves as Consultant at Performisys, an organizational performance management consultancy. He is also Manager of Professional Development at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS). 

He has coached countless executives toward achieving career and leadership goals and helped to position them in the market through effective career guidance and personal brand development. Additionally, Stefan has placed numerous executives in senior roles in healthcare within a variety of provider and private equity-backed organizations as a recruiter. Stefan is certified in the Hogan leadership assessment series and Decision Style assessment.

He is a frequent speaker and moderator at a number of regional and national association conferences on topics such as talent management, leadership, hiring and career development. Stefan is bilingual in Spanish.
